Wathila ibn Al-Asqa reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do not rejoice over your brother’s misfortune, lest Allah have mercy upon him and subject you to trials.”

عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُظْهِرْ الشَّمَاتَةَ لِأَخِيكَ فَيَرْحَمَهُ اللَّهُ وَيَبْتَلِيكَ

2506 سنن الترمذي كِتَاب صِفَةِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَالرَّقَائِقِ وَالْوَرَعِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ من عير أخاه بذنب لم يمت حتى يعمله

قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ

 

Narrated Tariq (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

'Abdullah said, "The best talk is Allah's Book (Qur'an), and the best
guidance is the guidance of Muhammad. (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam)"

Mafhoom e Hadees:
Jab tum kisi baat ki qasam kha lo aur phir dekho k 2sri soorat bihtar hay to qasam tor do aur us ka kaffara ada kro (Mishkaat, page296)

Abu Ad-Darda reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever defends the honor of his brother, then Allah will protect his face from the Hellfire on the Day of Resurrection.”

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ

 

Narrated Jabir (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "When you intend going
to bed at night, put out the lights, close the doors, tie the mouths of the
water skins, and cover your food and drinks." Hamrnam said, "I think he
(the other narrator) added, 'even with piece of wood across the utensil.'"

Bukhari Vol. 8 : No. 310

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "A flag will be fixed
on the Day of Resurrection for every betrayer, and it will be announced
(publicly in front of everybody), 'This is the betrayal (perfidy) of
so-and-so, the son of so-and-so.' "

Bukhari Vol. 8 : No. 197

There are three to whom Allah will not speak

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There are three to whom Allah will not speak on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He look at them or purify them, and they will have a painful punishment: a man who has extra water but he refuses to share it with a traveler, a man who swears a false oath in order to sell some goods after the afternoon prayer and he swears by Allah that he bought it for a certain price although it is untrue, and a man who pledges allegiance to a leader only to get something in the world and if he is given he will fulfill his pledge but if he is not given he will not fulfill his pledge.”

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَهَذَا حَدِيثُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلَاثٌ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمْ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ رَجُلٌ عَلَى فَضْلِ مَاءٍ بِالْفَلَاةِ يَمْنَعُهُ مِنْ ابْنِ السَّبِيلِ وَرَجُلٌ بَايَعَ رَجُلًا بِسِلْعَةٍ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ فَحَلَفَ لَهُ بِاللَّهِ لَأَخَذَهَا بِكَذَا وَكَذَا فَصَدَّقَهُ وَهُوَ عَلَى غَيْرِ ذَلِكَ وَرَجُلٌ بَايَعَ إِمَامًا لَا يُبَايِعُهُ إِلَّا لِدُنْيَا فَإِنْ أَعْطَاهُ مِنْهَا وَفَى وَإِنْ لَمْ يُعْطِهِ مِنْهَا لَمْ يَفِ
