The mother of the believers emancipates

Ibn Umar on Companions: The companions considered Abu Bakr as the best, then Umar, then Uthman
Ibn Umar said, “We would consider who was the best of people during the time of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and we considered Abu Bakr to be the best, and then Umar ibn Al-Khattab, and then Uthman ibn Affan, may Allah be pleased with them.”

Aisha on Freedom: The mother of the believers emancipates forty slaves for breaking her vow
Urwa bin Az-Zubair reported: Abdullah bin Az-Zubair was the most beloved person to Aisha other than the Prophet and Abu Bakr, and he in his turn was the most devoted to her. Aisha would not withhold the wealth given to her by Allah and she would spend it in charity. Abdullah said, “Aisha should stop doing so.” She said, “Shall I be stopped from doing so? I vow that I will never talk to Abdullah bin Az-Zubair.” On that, Ibn Az-Zubair asked some people from Quraish and particularly the two uncles of the Messenger of Allah to intercede with her, but she refused to talk to him. Az-Zuhriyun, the uncles of the Prophet, including Abdur Rahman bin Al-Aswad bin Abd Yaghuth and Al-Miswar bin Makhrama said to him, “When we ask for permission to visit her, enter her house along with us.” He did accordingly and she accepted their intercession. He sent her ten slaves whom she emancipated as expiation for not keeping her vow. Aisha emancipated more slaves for the same purpose until she emancipated forty slaves. She said, “I wish I had specified what I would have done if I had not fulfilled my vow when I made it, so that I might have done it more easily.”

“O my uncle, by Allah, even if

Ibn Hisham: The Prophet would never abandon Islam even if the Quraish put the sun and moon in his hands
Ibn Ishaq reported: The Quraish appealed to Abu Talib, the Prophet’s uncle, concerning the matter, so he sent for the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and he said to him, “O son of my brother, indeed, your people have already come to me and they said such-and-such, so please spare me and yourself. Do not burden me with what I cannot handle.” The Messenger of Allah thought that his uncle had changed his mind and he would no longer protect him, so he said, “O my uncle, by Allah, even if they put the sun in my right hand and the moon in my left hand on the condition that I abandon this matter, I will never abandon it until either Allah has made me victorious or I perish therein.” Then the Messenger of Allah wept and he stood up to leave. Abu Talib said, “Come back, O son of my brother!” The Messenger of Allah turned back to him and Abu Talib said, “Go and say what you like, for by Allah, I will never surrender them to you.”
